Mill City, OR— Marlene Louise Budlong, a long-time resident of Mill City, passed away and went on to be with her Lord on Monday the 26th of July. She died of traumatic brain injury at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland after a fall.
Born in 1933 in McMinnville, Marlene was the only daughter of Otis and Opal White. She grew up with five brothers, with whom she remained close. She earned Salutatorian status at Detroit High School where her father was the Principal. She then attended Northwest Christian College in Eugene.

Helen E. Andersen
October 11, 1914 – July 6, 2010
Helen Elizabeth Andersen, 95, of Mehama, Oregon, went to be with the Lord and her family in Heaven on July 6th, 2010. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her. One of ten children, Helen was born October 11, 1914 in Adams County, Nebraska to Robert and Sena Johnson. She moved from Nebraska in the mid 1930’s and after a brief stay in Los Angeles moved to the Santiam Canyon, where she lived the rest of her life, the last 61 years in Mehama.

Edward Robert Christoferson
September 14, 1927 – July 2, 2010
Stayton
Edward was born in Cle Elum, Washington . He joined the Navy in 1944 and served overseas during WWII. He married Diane Rhodes and she preceded him in death. He lived in Stayton for many years managing an Apartment complex. He spent many happy hours bowling with friends at the Stayton Bowling Alley.
He is survived by sons: Charles E. Christoferson of Arizona, Dale D. Christoferson of Vancouver, WA and Donna M. Burleigh of Keizer, OR and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of his life was held at a BBQ on Saturday, July 10, 2010

Darlyne Mae Miller was born in Bradford, Iowa .
She was the daughter of Hubert and Irma Miller.
and came to Oregon in 1964. She met Earl Brown in 1973 and were married. They shared life in many parts of Oregon until settling in Sublimity 30 yrs. ago.
Darlene loved people and was loved very much by all. She
