Doris M. Travis (Potter)

Salem– Doris M. Travis, 65, passed away on Friday the 23rd at her home in Salem. She was born in Downey, CA, the daughter of Fred and Pearl Stilwell. She graduated from Lynwood high school in Lynwood, California. Married to Edwin Potter in May of 1966. Edwin preceded her in death on February 21, 1984. She had worked for the Dept. of Aviation as an office specialist before retiring. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Doris was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading the bible and attending bible classes. She was also a 20 yrs. member of AA. She is survived by daughter, Dana Potter of Salem; son, John Potter of Paso Robles, CA; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Salem. A Memorial service will be held Sat. July 31st at 11:00 am at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Salem 1770 Baxter Road SE, Salem, Oregon. Interment will be private at the Paso Robles Cemetery in Paso Robles, California.
