Doris M. Travis (Potter)

Salem– Doris M. Travis, 65, passed away on Friday the 23rd at her home in Salem.
Born at Downey, CA, the daughter of Fred and Pearl Stilwell.
Graduate of Lynwood high school in Lynwood, CA.
She was married to Edwin Potter in May of 1966, he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1984.
She had worked for the Dept. of Aviation as an office specialist before retiring.
She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading the bible and attending bible classes.
She was also a 20 yrs. member of AA.
She is survived by daughter, Dana Potter of Salem; son, John Potter of Paso Robles, CA; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Salem.
Memorial service will be Sat. July 31st at 11:00 am at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Salem.
Interment will be private.
