L. Wanda Brown

Wanda Brown was born at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the 13th day of August, 1936. She passed away on Friday, July 9th at Salem. She was 73. The son of John and Iona Brown.
Wanda was married to Joseph Ratliff in Oklahoma, they later divorced, she then married Carroll Short , they later divorced, she then married Norman Stodola, they later divorced.
Wanda had attended nursing school and received her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had lived in Oklahoma, California, Washington, Idaho and Alaska before settling in Gates, Oregon in 2008. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting writing poetry and music and arts and crafts.
She is survived by daughter, Jo Edna (Alan) Raines of Gates; step-mother, Helen Brown of California; brothers, Clyde Brown of Kansas, Jackie Brown of Arizona, John Brown of California ; sisters, Rita Wadley and Linda Berry and Melody Brown all of California; grandsons, Aaron, Daryle and Nathan Raines; and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Visitation will be Fri. July 16th from 1-6 pm, and Memorial Service Sat. July 17th at 2:00 pm both at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, OR. Interment will be private.
