Notes to the Family,

At a certain moment it will be determined that for all intents and purposes my life has stopped.

When that happens do not call this my death bed. Let it be called the Best of life.

Scatter my ashes to the wind to help the flowers grow. If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all my prejudices.

Give my sins to the Devil

Give my soul to God.

If you wish to remember me do it with a kind word to someone who needs you.

A Mother and Grandmother’s Love

A Mother and Grandmother’s love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending. It keeps going around and around, ever expanding, touching everyone who comes in contact with it engulfing them like the morning mist, warming them like the noontime sun, and covering them like a blanket of evening stars.

Note to Our Mother;

WE THOUGHT OF YOU WITH LOVE TODAY.

BUT THAT IS NOTHING NEW,

WE THOUGHT ABOUT YOU YESTERDAY

AND DAYS BEFORE THAT TOO.

WE THINK OF YOU IN SILENCE,

WE OFTEN SPEAK YOUR NAME,

NOW ALL WE HAVE IS MEMORIES

AND YOUR PICTURE IN A FRAME.

YOUR MEMORY IS OUR KEEPSAKE,

WITH WHICH WE WILL NEVER PART.

GOD HAS YOU IN HIS KEEPING,

WE HAVE YOU IN OUR HEARTS.

           Sandy, Kathie, Laurie and Sharon.

    Laurie & Sharon,

I just heard of your mom’s passing today, June 23rd. It is with heavy and heart-felt thoughts I have for you both and your family. Your mom’s smile and laugh are quickly recalled. My deepest sympathies!

    Love,
    Tina
