OBITUARY
Margaret M. “Marge” Collar
November 28, 1929 – March 13, 2010
M. Marge Collar was born at Linton, North Dakota on the 28th of November, 1929. She passed away on Saturday the 13th at Lyons. She was 80. The daughter of Raphael and Dorothy Schaffner.
Marge moved from North Dakota to Idaho before moving to Mt. Angel where she grew up. She was married to Don Zollner in 1947 and they made their home in the Salem area, they later divorced. She was married to Willard Collar on Oct. 29, 1966 Reno, Nevada, he preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with family and family social events. She is survived by her sons, Larry Zollner of Tampa, Florida, Glenn Zollner of Eugene, Oregon; step-son, Les Collar of Mehama, Oregon; brothers, Leo, Alex, and Clemy Schaffner all of Oregon; sister, Christine Zollner of Gervais, OR; and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Willamette Valley Hospice.
Interment will be private at St. Boniface Cemetery, Sublimity, OR.
