Riley Elizabeth Barnett was born Sunday, June 27th at 5:05 am. She passed away approximately 7:30 am.
Daughter of Anna Marie Guadalupe Morris and Christopher Adam Barnett.
Sister of Serena and Connor Barnett.
This has been the hardest day of my life, but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.
She was the most beautiful and precious baby I have ever seen.
I love her more than anything in this world.
I am happy that I got to be a part of her life,
As she is a huge part of mine.

Michael Eugene Schlag, a lifelong resident of the Salem area, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 15th, 2010.
Michael grew up on his family’s farm, the “Owl Roost Ranch”, east of Salem at Howell Prairie. The values of farm life and being self sufficient, instilled in Michael by his parents, stayed with him all his life. After graduating from McNary High School, Michael began a career as a machinist. He honed his skills working for McNary Machine in Salem for several years and in 1990 opened his own business, River City Machine of Salem, with partner Ron Burns.

Marilyn lost her hard fought battle with cancer at 4:50 p.m. on June 19, 2010. She passed away at home with her loved ones at her side. She leaves behind her husband Dale, son Michael, daughters Kim and April, her parents Ray and Opal and brother Arlie, two granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
Marilyn retired from the Department of Agriculture with over twenty five years service. She was the food safety office manager. She loved her family and friends and was always there to help.
