I became friends with her when I worked at Salem Cardiology. She was a true friend and mentor to me. I went to her place a couple of times to have dinner and sew together. We talked a lot! I loved her!! I had just tried to touch base with her last week on Faceboook. I hadn't heard that the cancer had returned. I learned of her passing today, and am so saddened. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss! Cherish the dear memories and be thankful for them! I definitely am! She made the world a brighter place!! I want you to know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss and will continue to be in the days ahead. I feel so bad that I didn't know that the cancer had returned, etc. I work all day and care every evening and some mornings for my parents, so since last summer I have not been home very much. I am very sorry about not having some contact with her in the last several months. I always appreciated our chats as we ran into each other outside and will miss her around here. We shared a faith in Christ, so I rejoice in knowing she is safe in heaven, her real home, and that we will chat again upon our Lord's return. May God's peace and comfort surround you as you adjust to life without your dear one.
