October 24, 1934 – January 24, 2010

Glen Dale Whitfield was born in Lamar, Oklahoma.  His family moved to Turner, Oregon before he began elementary school.  While attending and after graduating from Cascade High School in 1953, he was in the Oregon National Guard (1952-1954). Glen then joined the Navy in 1954, and was based on the USS Montrose for four years.  In 1980 he then re-entered the Navy Reserve for the next fourteen years. In 1958, Glen married Roberta Jane Campbell and they had three children.   He worked as an auto mechanic before becoming a vocational instruction

Tyler A. Graham November 9, 1984 – January 22, 2010 STAYTON-Tyler Graham passed away peacefully January 22, 2010, at his home in Stayton, Oregon. Tyler was born November 9, 1984, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Tony and Edna Graham.

Although Tyler’s life was short, his accomplishments were many. He recieved his Blackbelt in TaiKwanDoe. Most recently, he completed a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Detroit Michigan and managed an extensive Christmas Tree Lot in California. WAYNE L. -BUD- THOMAS

Wayne L. “Bud” Thomas

March 7, 1924 – Jan. 28, 2010

Lived all his life in Mill City, graduate of Mill City high school class of 1942.

He passed away peacefully at his home in Mill City with his family at his side.

He had worked for 27 yrs. For the US forestry service as a reforestation technician, having retired in 1982.

He was married to Barbara Pritchard on May 22, 1959 in Reno, Nevada and they made their home in Mill City.
